Patience Pays!

Back in the late 1970s, I began working on a concept for a very clear, pure, yet musically engaging transistor amplifier. Code named “Tiger,” it was to be 20 to 25 Watts and be a direct rival to top-model amplifiers like the Crown D75, McIntosh’s wonderful transistor amplifier, and G.A.S.’s Ampzilla.

Despite my best efforts, I never could get it to sound good. Today, May 18, I finally figured out the problem. So, after almost 50 years, I now have a genuinely superb solid state amplifier. It’s in the final stages of development, and will be for sale by year’s end (or sooner). More news later!
